Six Government Hospitals Managed by Edgenta Mediserve Awarded with Energy Management Gold Standard (EMGS) Certificates Under  the ASEAN Energy Management Scheme (AEMAS)

Edgenta Mediserve achieved the One STAR Rating of Energy Management Gold Standard (EMGS) under the ASEAN Energy Management Scheme (AEMAS) for six Government Hospitals managed by the Company.

The six hospitals are Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (Alor Setar), Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (Sungai Petani), Langkawi Hospital, Batu Gajah Hospital, Kuala Kangsar Hospital and Parit Buntar Hospital.

With this status, Edgenta Mediserve has successfully established the framework in implementing the Sustainability Energy Management Program (SEMP) according to AEMAS requirement and in line with ISO 5001 at the above​ hospitals.

The certification award ceremony was held on 6 October 2016 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and was presented by YBhg Dato’ Seri Ir Dr. Zaini bin Ujang, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air (KeTHHA). The award ceremony was held in conjunction with International GreenTech and Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia (IGEM).
